She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science in Advanced Nursing in 2013. During her 20 year nursing career she has been a junior practice nurse, charge nurse, Cornerstone assessor with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and also a clinical manager at general practice for the past seven years before opening her own laser clinic. She has been awarded Procare's highly commended practice nurse of the year 2011 and highly mentioned practice nurse in 2016.
